The Thomasville City Schools Board meets every 4th Tuesday of each month, with the exception of November, December, and May. All scheduled TCS Work Sessions and Board Meetings are posted at the beginning of each year. All meetings are posted at least 24 hours prior to each meeting via local media and social media.

All board meetings are open to the public (except during Executive Session) and subject to the GA Opens Records Act and its provisions.

Per BOE Policy-BCBC: A matter may be brought to the attention of the Board by contacting the Superintendent’s office by 8:30 AM the day of a regular business meeting.  A written summary of the concern should be submitted when the request is made.  The Board Chair shall have the discretion to limit the length of time for individual comments and the number of citizens speaking for or against an individual matter.
