The primary role of our school nurses is to promote the health and wellbeing of students in order for them to reach their maximum academic potential. The Thomasville City School district employs a full time Registered Nurse at each of its 5 schools. Our Bulldog nurses promote the health of students by performing assessment for individual health problems, providing various screenings as necessary, and offering health education in different areas. Each of them work with parents, teachers, social workers, and other health care professionals to develop health care plans for all students and their various needs.
