Dear parents of TCS students,
I hope you were able to get some well deserved rest over the break! COVID-19 has been challenging for educators and parents. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.
We have been pleased with the small number of reported COVID cases over the break from our students and faculty/staff. We look forward to school starting back on Monday.
We have stayed in contact with DPH to ensure we are following their recommendations. DPH recommends we continue with our mitigation process including the wearing of masks, hand washing, cleaning and distancing.
Contact tracing (locally, regionally and state wide) has found the biggest issue to be individuals that exhibit symptoms choosing to still go out and risk exposure to others. Let's do our part in continuing to lead the effort and model to our students to stay at home if/when we exhibit symptoms. Students have the desire to show up for school even when they do not feel their best. In normal years, this is a wonderful trait....but not during COVID. Please help us by keeping your student(s) home if/when they have symptoms. It takes all of us doing our part.
As a reminder, we have done away with all attendance incentives and our amazing teachers will work with your student(s) on missing work.
Thank you for your tremendous attitude during this difficult year.
Have a great New Year Day and weekend!
