This past week was a great week for the student athletes of Thomasville High School!

Wednesday morning our Cross Country teams hosted the Region 1-AA meet at Pebble Hill. The girl's team brought home a 4th place finish and will compete in the State Meet at Carrollton High School this Saturday. On the boys side, Josh May finished 6th overall and will also compete at State as an individual runner. 

Thursday in Adel, the One Act Play cast won the Region 1-AA Championship with their performance of Little Shop of Horrors. The State Championship will be held on November 20th at Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, GA. 

Friday night, the Bulldogs Football team completed a perfect 5-0 record in Region 1-AA action by defeating the Berrien County Rebels by a score of 35-14. With the victory, the Bulldogs improved to 9-1 on the year. Prior to the game over 40 seniors from the Football team, Cheerleading squad, Marching Band, Red Hots, and ROTC program were honored. A special thank you to all who were involved in making the ceremony possible!

The GHSA State Playoffs will begin for the Bulldogs on Friday, November 12 at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Ticket information will be coming later today!

On Saturday morning, the Competition Cheer squad competed at Valdosta High School and brought home a 1st Place finish in the AA division. The girls will be back in action this Saturday in Sylvester in what will be their last tune-up before the Region competition.
