Congratulations to the Bulldogs Football team for an impressive 42-7 victory over Washington County on Friday night. It was great to see the student section in full force and the stands filled with fans! A special thank you goes out to the AFJROTC, Marching Bulldog Band, Red Hots, Dance Dawgs, and Cheerleaders for all the hard work they put in to create this unbelievable atmosphere for our community.

With the victory, the Bulldogs will take on the Heard County Braves this Friday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium with kickoff set for 8:00. Ticket pricing and information will be released later today.

On Saturday, the Bulldog Swim Team kicked off their season with the Dean Ferrell Classic at the Butler Mason YMCA. The Bulldogs had a good day in the pool with Senior Lewis Stringfellow cutting a state qualifying time in both the 50 and 100 freestyle.

Also on Saturday, the Competition Cheer Squad competed in the Regionals at Vidalia High School. The girls finished 3rd, but came up short in their attempt to qualify for state in their first year of competition.

This upcoming week our One Act Play team will compete in the AA State Championship on Saturday. In order to help raise funds for their trip to Forsyth, the cast and crew will be putting on a performance Thursday night at 7:30 in the MPMS Auditorium. Admission will be $5.

Our Varsity Basketball teams begin their regular season on Saturday at Bainbridge.

Good luck to all of our teams this week!
