Good morning and welcome back! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break.

Last week was a great week in the world of Bulldog Athletics.

The boys 9th Grade basketball started the week with a 47-23 victory over Brooks County on Monday.

The girls basketball team began their season by going 1-1 in the Charles Cooper Invitational at Lowndes High School. Monday afternoon, the girls defeated Lanier County by a score of 63-17.

The boys basketball team travelled to Orlando on Friday and Saturday to participate in the Florida Get Down Tournament. On Friday afternoon the Bulldogs defeated PK Yonge by a score of 65-38. AJ Dent led all scorers with 19 points. Saturday morning, the Bulldogs faced Lake Nona and came away with a 64-29 victory. Dijmon Wheeler and Tyson Anderson contributed 16 points each in the win.

Friday night was something special at Veterans Memorial Stadium. In front of a near capacity crowd and national TV audience, the Bulldogs defeated the Rabun County Wildcats by the score of 49-24. With this victory, our Bulldogs will host the Callaway Cavaliers on Friday night at 8:00 PM in the GHSA AA State Semi-Finals.

For the semi-final contest, GHSA requires that ALL tickets be purchased through Go Fan. All tickets will be $15. There will be NO tickets sold at THS. Be sure to get your tickets and come support the Bulldogs!
