I want to start out by saying thank you to everyone who showed up to support our football team on Thursday morning for the sendoff, and Friday in Atlanta. The outpouring of support from this community was simply amazing. To the football team, coaches, and support staff, I also want to thank you for your hard work and dedication in representing our school and community in such an awesome way throughout the season.
I also want to thank the Marching Bulldog Band, Cheerleaders, and Red Hots for representing our school in a wonderful manner on Friday at the game. These groups along with the Diamond Dogs, Dance Dogs, and ROTC helped to make the Bulldogs football season one to remember for a long time!
Congratulations goes out to the 9th Grade Boys Basketball team for their victory last week over Lee County 47-36.
On Wednesday of last week, the THS Lady Bulldogs defeated the Bainbridge Lady Bearcats by a score of 44-37 to improve to 4-2 on the season!
On Saturday, the Red Hots competed at the War Eagle Warmup Dance Competition at South Forsyth High School in Cumming, GA. The team claimed 1st place in the Kick Division, and Abby Coppedge claimed 4th place in the Solo Division!
This upcoming week our Varsity Basketball teams are traveling across town to take on TCC. Be sure to come out and show our school pride and support these young ladies and young men as they look to complete the season sweep!
