Sixth grade band students are working on using their air flow effectively and using good breath support when playing their instrument. By using the proper air flow, students kept the ping pong ball spinning just by blowing through their instrument mouthpiece! Science + band!

Ms. Ellis's 6th grade science class, with the help of Mrs. Futch, Instructional Coach for Math and Science, had the chance to create their own tornadoes in a bottle after learning about tornadoes in class.
