THS/SA Credit Repair Sign Up
Academic classes are the only classes that can be taken during this time.
Credit Repair - Dates are Monday, February 8th to Friday, February 19th. Monday - Friday. 3:30 PM - 5:00PM
Deadline: Response is due Friday, February 5th at 3:30
Students can only take 2 credit repair classes. Students can either complete this work online at home or come to THS in the allotted time.
Students MUST adhere to the following stipulations if taking a course in credit repair.
1. Students must log-in every instructional day during this time.
2. Students are expected to uphold academic honesty during this time. If a student is caught not being academically honest, they will be removed from the program with no further grade improvement opportunity.
3. Under no circumstances will extra time be given past the appointed deadlines.
4. Students must have reliable internet access for the class to be completed if they are not on campus.
5. The original failing grade can only be raised to a maximum of 70 through Credit Repair.
Any violations of these rules could result in the removal of the program.

SPORTS UPDATE:
High School Track practice is canceled for today (1/28) due to the excess water on the track.

Students in Mrs. McDonald's Environmental Science class built windmills and collected data on their different designs.



Thomasville High's ROTC visited Scott Elementary to demonstrate proper flag folding and gave a rifle demonstration to the 5th grade Flag Team.

Some changes to Bulldog Activities this weekend. One Act will compete in Region on Friday at 9am in Sylvester. And only the Boys Basketball Team will be playing Friday and Saturday at 6pm. As well as only the Boys JV Team on Saturday at 12PM. #BulldogPride

Thomasville High, students, in Mrs. McDonald's Conceptual Physics class, used blocks to model controlled and uncontrolled chain reactions as it relates to nuclear reactions.

In Mrs. McDonald's Environmental Science class, students played a game to model the ecological succession of a community represented by four different plant types. Extraneous forces acted on some or all of the individuals to cause some to be more successful and others less so.

At Thomasville High, students in Mrs. McDonald's Environmental Science class, are studying the Greenhouse Effect.





Thomasville City Schools would like to to announce that ALL students can receive free meals (breakfast and lunch) at school through the end of the school year! The USDA has issued waivers related to COVID-19 to allow schools to provide free meals to ALL students through the end of the 20-21 school year (May 28, 2021). No application needed. Thomasville High School and Scholars Academy students and parents attended an informational session at Thomasville High School on December 7, 2020 entitled "Road to College" with guest speaker Angie Wilson from the Georgia Student Finance Commission. Information about career research, choosing a college, HOPE, Scholarship programs, GPA calculation, and financial aid opportunities were discussed. A follow-up session on FAFSA will be January 11, 2021 at 5:30 PM at Thomasville High School.
