Ms. Engram's 7th grade Life Science class has been learning about the Characteristics of Life. Since it's Halloween, they are completing a Halloween Lab: "The Halloween Decorations Are...Alive?" The government has contracted them and their team of scientists to determine whether to classify skeletons, zombies, vampires, jack-o-lanterns, scarecrows, and werewolves as living organisms. They have been given a 3-month time frame and a minimal budget. Students are having fun while learning!
Mr. Kirkley's Computer Science classes have enjoyed using Music Lab , which is a platform that allows students to make music with code. They are developing foundational coding skills and an appreciation for the connection between music and technology.

This week we celebrate National School Lunch Week! Our Cafeteria staff goes above and beyond to make sure our middle school students get the most nutritious and delicious meals possible, each and every day! We love our cafeteria workers!
Mrs. Jessica Dell's art classes at MPMS/Scholars Academy were treated to a visit by Master Pumpkin Artist, Mr. Jim Morey. He delighted students by demonstrating how he carves pumpkins with great detail!
